The blue path already reaches the Blue Will. The unresolved layer is the full-room sentence left behind by the Atelier's painting pairs.
UnsolvedOpen Layer Sentence
This is the part the community still argues about. The route itself is already solved; the unresolved question is what this whole-map sentence does beyond describing the area.
Anagram of EMPTY
Anagram of MOTHER
Anagram of ONESELF
Already readable, no unscramble needed
The open layer: Using the manor's one-letter-difference picture rule across the Atelier's first-draft rooms yields the sentence above. Unlike the colored-path outputs, it does not have a settled purpose.
The solved layer: The same area already resolves four route outputs: MPTYE, MORTHE, LEFOSNE, and SWANSONG, which read as EMPTY, MOTHER, ONESELF, and SWANSONG. The blue route is the one that actually takes you to the Blue Will of Auravei.
The real question: Is THESE VYING PLANS FORGE BARON CREST AMONG HEWAM BLEST just the Atelier's ceremonial summary, or does it still describe an action to perform inside the rough-draft maze itself?
Solving the rough-draft room picture pairs as one-letter-difference clues produces THESE VYING PLANS FORGE BARON CREST AMONG HEWAM BLEST. This is a whole-map extraction, not the result of following only the correct blue route.
Reading only the rooms touched by the red, orange, violet, and blue routes yields MPTYE, MORTHE, LEFOSNE, and SWANSONG, which resolve to EMPTY, MOTHER, ONESELF, and SWANSONG. The blue path does not need unscrambling.
Reading the hidden blue path in traversal order yields WE SEEK WHATS IN THE SHADE OF TRUTH from Pantry through Furnace. The same exact sentence is written on Mary's Safehouse whiteboard, which makes the path output and the Safehouse clue a direct match rather than a loose thematic echo.
Within Mount Holly Blueprints, only 12 of the 45 rooms contain blue Mora Jai Boxes. Every room on the hidden path is one of those blue-box rooms, and together they yield WE SEEK WHATS IN THE SHADE OF TRUTH in traversal order. In our current reconstruction, the 4 remaining blue-box rooms are Coat Check, Corridor, Hallway, and East Wing Hall; their letters form GEMS, while the extra Mora Jai Box in Room 46 replaces TRUTH with BLUE.
The sentence names a baron, a crest, and the house itself. The confirmed reward at the end of the blue path is Auravei's Blue Will, which declares the discoverer the true inheritor of Mount Holly. The wording overlaps directly with the inheritance reveal.
One community test tried to literalize the sentence in a single run: place Furnace on a barren spot, make it the last room for a full HEWAM, add Shrine and Chapel with Dancer's Blessing for BLEST, and inspect the outside-facing back wall. Result: only a regular key and no extra visible interaction.
One community interpretation notes that Simon's crest in Room 46 shows a swan on one side and musical notation on the other, effectively turning SWANSONG into a literal crest image. If true, it would connect the blue route word directly to "forge baron crest."

The dominant reading is that the phrase explains what the area does: these competing plans or blueprints determine the rightful baron and crest of the blessed house. That fits the Blue Will reveal cleanly and requires no hidden extra mechanism.
Because the words come from room positions, prose order may not be the final read order. "Forge baron crest" could be an instruction to arrange rooms, trace a crest-like route, or project the sentence back onto the Atelier door layout.
A strong reading from the second Reddit thread is that, if the sentence does anything, it should be solved within the Atelier's rough-draft version of the house rather than the real manor. That fits the local wording and explains why literal real-house tests such as Furnace plus blessing have not produced anything new.
The blue route already gives SWANSONG, and one player reads Room 46's crest as a literal swan plus song. If that observation is right, the sentence may not point to a new destination at all. It may be telling you how the baron's crest is encoded inside the path solution.
The green/yellow lights and recurring spiral might have another role, but no rule connecting them to a second path has been demonstrated. The "sum of eighteen" already fits the five, six, and seven rooms on the red, orange, and violet paths, so it does not support an additional 18-step route.
Blue Prince repeatedly uses awkward wording, mixed diction, and textual anomalies as clue containers. On that reading, the sentence is real but incomplete: an acrostic, word-position readout, or substitution layer still needs to be applied.

Other Blue Prince pages and community coverage that likely matter if this sentence has one more layer.
Tracks ROSEWARY, TENDED ROSE VINE, gallery words, and the rest of the Atelier's leftover clue bank. If this puzzle has a sibling mystery, it is probably there.
SWANSONG already acts like a route marker in the Atelier and may also describe Room 46's crest. That makes this page the strongest existing precedent for a reused endgame output.
